The inspiration for the concept of Google's headquarters was the city in which it is located - Wrocław.

Google Poland

The cobblestone floor and red bricks reflect the historic architecture, familiar to both residents and visitors. The shape of the reception desk evokes the sailboats moored at the Wrocław marina, while the structure above the reception, reminiscent of the Wrocław Pergola, will gradually become more verdant over time.

The project also involved Kolektyf, who created the concept for the graphics and wayfinding in the space, as well as beautiful murals that reference the districts of Wrocław. Local artists were invited to collaborate on this.

As always in our projects, we followed the principles of biophilic design. The office features natural materials and lighting, as well as nature-inspired colors, with the entire space filled with greenery. There is, for example, a green wall, a plant pot with a structure reminiscent of the steel constructions of Wrocław's bridges, and numerous freestanding plants.
